Hello second graders and parents! I am Mrs. Topoll. I am very excited to be your child’s second grade teacher. I have been teaching for 18 years. I am originally from the suburbs of Chicago. I graduated from Illinois State University in 1998. I taught 2 years of middle school in Peoria, IL and moved to NC with my husband in 2001. I taught in Cary at Weatherstone Elementary for 8 years and then came to Brassfield in 2012. I absolutely love teaching at Brassfield!
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My husband (Mike) and I have 3 children, Lily who is 14 and is going into 9th grade at Wakefield at Durant Middle, Brayden is 10 and is going into 5th and Gavin is 8, and will be in fourth this year at Brassfield. We love traveling as a family, playing outside, watching movies, playing games and taking walks with our three dogs, Daisy (age 4), Bella(age 5), and Bentley(9 months) when we are not in school. I am excited to meet you all and learn about your families! Looking forward to a great second grade year!
